On October 5th the team here at Bear Archery launched the 2022 Product Line introducing several new compound bows, which included the all-new Alaskan. Working with several partners across the country, Bear has teamed up with Sean from Sean’s Outdoor Adventures who has provided us with an extensive review on the Alaskan, breaking down everything there is to know, including speed test at various draw lengths.

The Alaskan features an all-new DHC Cam System here at Bear Archery that has an 80% let-off with a silky-smooth draw cycle. It is 32” axle-to-axle with a 6.25” brace height to offer you a forgiving bow that is easy to maneuver in tight spaces either from the tree stand or a ground blind. It has incredible adjustability in both draw length (25.5”-31”) and draw weight (45-60lb or 55-70lb limbs). The Bear Alaskan fires arrows at class leading speeds up to 335 FPS and has a mass weight of right under 4lbs, offering you a great performance bow at mid-line price.
