Bear Archery Launches Paramount and Paramount Pro, Built for the Competition Line

Bear Archery, an industry leader in archery innovation and craftsmanship for nearly a century, today announced the launch of the new Paramount and Paramount Pro, two purpose-built target bows designed to deliver competitive performance at an unmatched value.

Built for the demands of target archery, the Paramount and Paramount Pro feature Bear Archery’s EKO² Cam System, delivering speeds up to 328 FPS with a smooth, efficient draw cycle. Both bows offer adjustable draw lengths from 25.5 to 30 inches, draw weight options of 35–50, 45–60, and 55–70 pounds, and 80 or 85 percent let-off, giving archers the versatility to fine tune their setup. A 35-inch axle-to-axle length and 6.5-inch brace height provide a stable, forgiving platform, while the fully integrated riser creates a clean, streamlined setup. A complete vibration dampening system helps reduce shock and post-shot movement, and a smooth-tracking roller cable system reduces friction to promote consistent shot execution and maximize long-term bowstring life. The Paramount Pro takes tuning even further with Bear Archery’s BroadTrack Limb System, featuring wide, machined Gordon limbs and the QPC (Quad Pocket Control) system for enhanced tunability and precision.

“At Bear Archery, we believe archery should be accessible to everyone,” said Bear Archery President Jon Lene. “With the Paramount and Paramount Pro, we set out to deliver the performance, adjustability, and precision competition archers demand while staying true to that belief. These bows bring premium target features and Bear Archery performance together at an unmatched value.”

Since its founding in 1933, Bear Archery has been committed to growing the sport and making archery accessible to people of all ages and experience levels. That philosophy, established by founder Fred Bear, continues to guide the brand nearly a century later as Bear develops equipment for everyone.

The Paramount and Paramount Pro bring that philosophy to the target line, combining purpose-built competition features, advanced tuning capabilities, and the quality and craftsmanship associated with the Bear Archery name. The Paramount has an MSRP of $799.99, while the Paramount Pro has an MSRP of $999.99. Both models are available to order beginning August 20, 2026, through authorized Bear Archery dealers in four color options: Black, White, Blue/White, and Black/Mossy Oak Bottomland.
