Bear Archery and Deer Meat For Dinner Launch the New DMFD Compound Bow
by Bear ArcheryBear Archery, in collaboration with Deer Meat For Dinner® founder Robert Arrington, proudly announces the launch of the new Deer Meat For Dinner® Compound Bow. Inspired by Robert's belief that "All men die, few ever really live," the DMFD bow was built for hunters who chase every moment with purpose, grit, and a relentless passion for the outdoors.
The Deer Meat For Dinner® Compound Bow represents a full-circle moment for Robert whose passion for bowhunting began at just 10 years old with a Bear Archery bow in his hands. Four decades later, Robert partnered closely with the Bear Archery engineering and product development teams to create a bow that reflects the way he hunts today. Every detail from the finish and accessories to the overall shooting experience was carefully considered through the lens of 40 years spent pursuing game across North America and around the world. The goal was simple: build a bow that hunters can trust every single time they step into the field.
"When I was 10 years old, I picked up my first Bear bow, and that's where this journey began," said Arrington. "To now have the opportunity to build a bow with Bear Archery is incredibly special to me. We didn't want to create something that just looked good, we wanted to create a bow that performs every single time you draw it back! Every accessory, every feature, and every design choice comes from decades of my real hunting experience. My goal was to build a complete setup that gives hunters total confidence the moment they step into the woods, because when that one opportunity comes, hesitation isn't an option."
Reaching speeds up to 339 feet per second, the Deer Meat For Dinner® Compound Bow delivers a smooth, controlled draw cycle powered by Bear Archery's EKO² Cam System with adjustable let-off options of 80 or 85 percent. Its 33-inch axle-to-axle length and forgiving 6.25-inch brace height create a stable, confidence-inspiring platform, while draw weight options of 45 to 60 or 55 to 70 pounds and an adjustable draw length from 25.5 to 30.5 inches provide a customizable fit for a wide range of hunters.
Every Deer Meat For Dinner® Compound Bow comes ready to hunt with a premium Trophy Ridge Ready-to-Hunt package valued at more than $470, featuring the FIX 5 rail-mounted sight, SYNC drop-away rest, VRSA Light 5-arrow quiver, Seismic 8-inch stabilizer, wrist sling, peep sight, and D-loop. Rather than simply assembling a collection of popular accessories, Robert selected each component based on the equipment and features he has come to rely on throughout decades of bowhunting, creating a fully integrated, field-proven system designed to eliminate guesswork and give hunters complete confidence every time they step into the woods.
The exclusive Deer Meat For Dinner® Iron colorway reflects Robert's lifelong preference for black and gray while delivering a finish that feels at home in the outdoors. The textured, dimensional appearance gives the bow a distinctive premium look without sacrificing practicality, blending naturally into a variety of hunting environments while standing apart with a clean, understated style.
