Limb Accessory & Bow Press Information
Congratulations on Your Purchase of a Bear® Bow
Your new Bear Archery compound bow is engineered for accuracy and long life. It's built with quality and pride. No other bow delivers a higher performance-to-value ratio than a Bear.
To get the most from your Bear bow, now and for as long as you own it, follow these important requirements regarding placement of limb accessories and use of bow presses.

Do not mount accessories, in particular clamping-type vibration dampeners, more than 2 inches from limb pockets. Failure to follow this requirement voids your warranty and will likely damage the limbs. (See illustration.)
See your authorized Bear Archery dealer to make adjustments using a bow press. Approved presses are only those presses that capture the riser as close to the ends as possible and apply pressure to the limbs ONLY between the axle and limb flare. (See illustration.)
Approved Bow Presses
Do not use an unapproved bow press!
Unapproved bow presses include those that use rollers to apply pressure to the mid-section of the limbs.
Use of an unapproved bow press will void your warranty and can result in immediate failure of the limbs and possible injury.
